Kenton Methodist Church Woodgrange Avenue, Kenton, HA3 0XF.
OUR WORSHIP
The weekly Sunday morning worship runs from 10.45am until approximately midday and follows the traditional Methodist style of worship.
Holy Communion is normally held once a month.
The Methodist Church historically places its Ministers within a Circuit and a Minister will have responsibility for more than one Church. This means that worship within each Church is celebrated by visiting Ministers, local preachers and its own worship leaders on a rotational basis.
We are fortunate at Kenton to have a congregation which numbers approximately 80 members and visitors every week and we are always ready to welcome anyone who wishes to worship with us.
Our Church has full disabled access, and benefits from a Hearing Loop system, and a modern Audio Visual Screen system for our worship services.
Kenton Methodist Church adheres to the Methodist Safeguarding Policy which states:
The aim of the Methodist Church Safeguarding policy is to create Christian communities of love and care, where good practice in this area becomes a way of life.
Further details on the Safeguarding policy can be found on the Methodist Church in Britain website.
In addition to our own services Kenton is “home” to four other Christian Churches who use other halls on our premises.
- The Bethel Evangelical Church from Romania which serves a thriving, youthful Romanian congregation.
- Harrow 7th Day Adventist Church.
- The Temple of Praise which serves a congregation from the local West Indian community.
- The Bethany Church of God which serves the Sri Lankan community local to Kenton. They worship in the Tamil language.
Further details of each Church can be found here.
